There’s Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, but what about Kid’s Day? In Latin America, especially Mexico, el Día del Niño is a daylong celebration of all things kids. While it’s not really a big deal in the U.S., we made it one. General Mills’ “Flavors of Fun” brought the joy of Kid’s Day to San Antonio with snacks, games, and giveaways. What started as a simple cultural integration has turned into a community staple during one of San Antonio’s biggest city events.
